Dynamic value stream analysis in real-time

The growing demand for customized products is increasingly presenting companies with major challenges. With digital assistance systems, they can meet these challenges and train their employees. The learning factory for networked production (LVP) at the Fraunhofer IGCV in Augsburg supports companies in this field and has recently expanded its range of services to include dynamic value stream analysis in real-time.

Recently, interested companies have been able to get first-hand experience through the learning factory for networked production, e.g., the construction and use of real-time capable systems and their effects on the role model in production. The learning environment at the Fraunhofer IGCV is a demonstration and training center for cyber-physical production systems at the Augsburg site, where innovative industry 4.0 solutions and their application potentials are shown and are ready to touch.

Training offer extended

The training offer »From paper-bound to paperless production« provides space for seven to twelve participants. It takes place in a model production environment, which sports an ascending degree of digitization within three rounds of the game and has now been expanded by a dynamic value stream analysis in real-time. The focus is on supporting companies that want to meet the future demand for customer-specific products using digital assistance systems and that focus on sensitizing their employees to efficient, synchronized, and low-waste value stream management.
