Our measuring testing technology expertise at Fraunhofer IGCV lies in the identification, characterization and scientific analysis of semi-finished products and components from various manufacturing processes as well as the materials used. We are continuously expanding our equipment and expertise to cover topics such as technical cleanliness, multi-material systems and metal alloys.
In this brochure, we present in detail the various testing devices and methods that can be used to examine materials and components. The material data obtained is used to assess material suitability, optimize processes and process parameters and develop new processes.
