2018 was an exciting, challenging but also successful year for our young Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV.

In order to perfectly position ourselves in strategic terms after the foundation at the end of the first half of 2016 and to crystallize the synergies from our three scientific fields of casting, composite and processing technology, we were able to present a new research project under the motto "Engineering. Production. Multimaterial Solutions“. We have set up our strategy. Our unique selling proposition lies in interdisciplinary solutions from the fields of efficient engineering, networked production and intelligent multi-material solutions.
