    Bürgermeister-Ulrich-Straße« as your destination.

    Parking spaces are located at each building.

    By car

    Coming from the A8, at the Augsburg-West junction take the B17 towards Landsberg. After approx. 14km leave the B17 at the "Messe/Universität" exit. Follow the "Friedrich-Ebert Straße" (B300) to the end, then turn left into "Haunstetter Straße" (B300) and after approx. 300m turn left again into "Werner-von-Siemens-Straße". On the right hand side you will find the SIGMA-Technopark. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the building.

    By public transport

    Take the tram line 2 (from "Königsplatz" via "Haunstetter Straße") to the stop "Sportanlage Süd P&R". There you turn right (do not cross "Haunstetter Straße") into "Werner-von-Siemens-Straße" and you will find the SIGMA-Technopark on the right hand side.

    Navigation system: In case your navigation system does not provide any results for »Lichtenbergstraße 15«, please enter »Lichtenbergstraße 11«, instead.  This is the address of our neighboring sister-institute Fraunhofer AISEC.

    On Autobahn A9, please take the Exit 70 »Garching Nord« in direction of »Garching-Nord/Forschungszentrum/TUM«.

    Parking spaces for visitors:  

    • are available on the joint parking lot of various local Fraunhofer Institutes. Please register as a guest of Fraunhofer IGCV via the intercom system at the entrance of the parking lot. Fraunhofer IGCV is only a few steps away.
    • Alternatively, you may also park on the numerous parking lots on the campus of the university (TUM), free of charge.

    Take subway U6 to final stop »Garching-Forschungszentrum«.

    • Continue on by Bus 292 (Oberschleißheim) oder Bus 230 (Haar) - running every 20 minutes.
    • Or alternatively, you may take a brief (7 minute) walk through the university (TUM) Campus.

    From Munich

    • Follow A9 to B471 in Garching near Munich
    • On A9 take exit "Garching-Süd", then the B471 towards Garching-Süd/Ismaning/Oberschleißheim
    • Follow B471 to Zeppelinstraße, turn right onto Zeppelinstraße
    • Follow the course of Zeppelinstraße by turning left
    • The Fraunhofer IGCV is located on the left; rented parking spaces are available in the parking lot of the neighboring company in front of the institute.
